and a chance to tour our beloved studio.

Georgetown Little Theatre is very fortunate to have a building dedicated to theatre production. We meet, rehearse, and build on site, and store a wealth of costumes, props and set-building materials.
The Backspace Shop is equipped with construction tools and a paint space. Our Studio Theatre has lighting and sound systems, full “black box” theatrical drape, and an approximately 65-seat audience.
There are many opportunities to perform, direct, write, and create.
Some of our annual productions and events include:
- 2 Productions each season are taken to the John Elliott Theatre located at the Halton Hills Cultural Centre
- 2 Youth Company productions, each season performed in the Studio
- New Works Showcase
- One ACT Play Festival
- Variety Nights
- Read-a-Play social evenings
We’re proud to offer many opportunities to create and support other artists (without having to go in front of an audience), because every play needs a community.

Every organization needs organizing. The people who do that don’t get the applause or the awards but nothing would happen without them.
